According to SADEV, the proper installation of a transmission in a vehicule has to be done by the sizing of the drive shaft, adapted to the vehicle type and application in which it operates.

Since the launch of the range of gearboxes, SADEV has accumulated an extensive experience for all kind of applications operating in extreme conditions. This experience allows us to provide reliable, adequate and properly sized drive shaft.
If you apply for a drive shaft manufactured by SADEV, please, give us the reference engraved on it.
To offer drive shaft suited to your needs, we suggest you to provide us the information for its definition, by filling-in the diagram below.
  • If your gearbox is not a SADEV one, one gearbox side joint.
  • The lengths L, L’, L’’, R, R’ et R’’ mesured as explained after.
  • Your max engine torque.
  • All the gear ratios for engine to wheel.
  • The self locking differential ramp angles.
  • The wheel size and car weight.

All L et R lengths must be taken from gearbox side joint mating surface to the wheelside joint nut mating surface.
