SADEV supported 2 universities in Formula Student

Every year, we welcome interns and apprentices who contribute to our projects while developing their technical expertise. This commitment also extends beyond our company through partnerships with ambitious student engineering initiatives such as the VOLTA project by ESTACA students. In 2026, we were proud to accompany two Formula Student teams during the 2026 season: UniBo Motorsport from Bologna and E-Agle Trento Racing Team from Trento.

Throughout theirs projects, SADEV supported the students with technical guidance, engineering expertise and precision-machined components, contributing to both the design and manufacturing of their vehicles. We helped transform innovative concepts into competitive electric race cars while providing these future engineers with valuable hands-on experience in a demanding motorsport environment.

Formula Student is one of the world's most prestigious engineering competitions for university students. The challenge requires teams to design, manufacture, test and race a single-seater formula-style race car, while managing every aspect of the project, from engineering and production to budgeting, marketing and project management.

The competition offers students a unique opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world motorsport environment, gaining invaluable experience in vehicle dynamics, electric powertrain development, mechanical design and race operations.

For many participants, Formula Student represents the first step towards a professional career in motorsport, automotive engineering or advanced mobility industries.
