SADEV Racing Transmission is proud to announce its support for the 2026 season of the French Rallycross Championship alongside Mélanie Seignard and the Seignard Compétition team, a passionate, and family‑driven racing structure. This year marks an important milestone for the team as they step up to Division 4.

Mélanie’s journey and ambitions for 2026

A driver in constant progression, Mélanie Seignard has built a solid reputation over the seasons thanks to her consistency and determination. She began her competitive journey in Autocross in 2019, finishing third in the Women’s Championship, before switching to Rallycross in 2022 in the Women’s category behind the wheel of a RENAULT Twingo R1 RX.

She secured 3rd place in the 2024 French Championship and confirmed the next year in 2025 by becoming Vice‑Champion, with several standout victories, most notably her remarkable win at the prestigious Lohéac event.

For the 2026 season, Mélanie aims to continue her sporting development and take on a brand‑new challenge. Moving up to Division 4 coincides with the introduction of a new car, the Peugeot 208 F2000, powered by a Honda K20 engine delivering 250 hp. This ambitious technical project will require time and development to unlock its full potential.

Within this framework, Mélanie and her team are targeting the best possible results with steady progress throughout the season. Their goals include reaching semi‑finals, and ultimately, final phases during the major end‑of‑season races.

A SADEV Gearbox Inside the Peugeot

To maximize the performance of their Peugeot 208 F2000, the team selected the SADEV ST90‑17, a gearbox specifically engineered for two‑wheel‑drive competition and widely recognized across disciplines such as Rallying and Circuit Racing, including the WTCR (World Touring Car Cup).

The ST90‑17 distinguishes itself through its lightweight construction, with a total mass of only 36 kg, its compact and efficient architecture, and its ability to deliver high performance with excellent torque absorption capacity. These technical advantages played a decisive role in guiding the team’s development choices.

Beyond its immediate performance on track, the ST90‑17 also supports a long‑term evolution strategy. Capable to withstand up to 470 N.m (346 ft.lbs) in Rallycross, it offers a substantial margin for future engine upgrades while maintaining reliability, an essential requirement for a project with such ambitious goals.
